Fast furniture often uses composites and glues that are difficult to recycle and harmful to the environment, producing pieces that break easily and encourage disposal. Föränderlig was conceived as an alternative: a modular sofa system designed to adapt over time. Made entirely from solid wood and organic textiles such as hemp, it avoids hazardous composites and ensures all materials can be reused or recycled. With a few simple parts, assembly and disassembly are straightforward, encouraging repair and reconfiguration.
