A candelabra where rigid steel flows like a handrail. Inspired by the handrails of Stockholm’s subway, Leda is the result of a two-day introduction to Konstfack’s metal workshop. The aim was to explore material methods quickly, resulting in a candelabra that bends steel into flowing curves. The form creates a comfortable grip while giving the piece an expressive silhouette. Made from polished, waxed steel, Leda is a study in how rigidity can be shaped into movement.
