A friendly, adaptable table lamp that “waves” with its rotating head, changing both light and form. Vinka — Swedish for “to wave” — is a versatile table lamp designed to shift between focused, directional light for active tasks and softer ambient glow for relaxed settings. Its angled body and rotating head allow multiple lighting angles, adapting easily to task, mood, and space. The form balances friendliness with sculptural understatement, while the rotation subtly changes its silhouette, giving it character and a sense of interaction. Currently developed as a functional 3D-printed prototype, Vinka is open to further material and production explorations.
